Optional tracking and embedded external content are blocked until you make the relevant privacy choice.

1. What this policy explains
This Cookie Policy explains how Lock & Leisure uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies on the website and how you can control optional categories.
2. Necessary technologies
Necessary technologies are used for functions such as secure sessions/forms, CSRF protection and remembering your privacy choice. These functions are required for the website to operate securely and are not switched off through the consent panel.
- lnl_consent: first-party consent preference record. It stores your selected categories and policy version for the configured consent period.
- Session/security cookie: a first-party session cookie may be used where required for secure forms and session protection. It normally expires when the browser session ends.
3. Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is treated as optional. The Google Analytics script is not downloaded or configured until you grant Analytics consent. When enabled, Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_* and process information about website usage. If Analytics consent is withdrawn, the website stops sending new Analytics events and attempts to remove first-party Google Analytics cookies accessible to the site.
4. Partner attribution
If partner attribution is enabled and you consent to this category, the website may store a first-party cookie named lnl_partner containing a referral/partner code. This can be used to attribute a referred booking to the correct Lock & Leisure partner. The default retention configured for this cookie is 30 days. If this feature is not operational, the category remains disabled.
5. External media / Google Maps
A normal Get Directions link opens Google Maps and does not require the Lock & Leisure website to access your current GPS location. Embedded Google Maps content, if configured, is blocked until you consent to External Media / Maps or explicitly choose to load that map. Loading the map creates a direct connection between your browser and Google.
6. Marketing
Marketing/remarketing technology is not enabled by default. If such tools are introduced later, they must remain blocked until the appropriate consent is granted and this policy is updated.
7. Changing or withdrawing consent
You can reopen the privacy panel at any time using Cookie Settings in the footer. Rejecting optional categories does not prevent you from browsing the website, using the contact forms or following booking and directions links.
8. Third-party information
Third-party services such as Google may have their own cookies, retention rules and privacy policies when you choose to load or visit their services. See the Lock & Leisure Privacy Policy for more information about recipients and data processing.
9. Updates
We may update this policy when technologies, providers or legal requirements change. A material change can trigger a new consent version so that visitors are asked to make their choice again.
